Special Education Teacher - Voices Program for assignment at Torrington Middle School (Grades 7-8). Applicants must hold or be eligible for a valid State of Connecticut teaching certificate with appropriate Special Education endorsement. The Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in alignment with their IEPs. They collaborate with general education teachers, families, and service providers to ensure access to the curriculum and promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. The teacher also monitors progress, maintains documentation, and creates a structured, inclusive learning environment tailored to diverse student needs. Torrington Public Schools personnel qualified for, certified for, and interested in transferring into the above must apply by midnight on May 8, 2026.
