Provide technical assistance and support for clients during events as requested. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with a team to provide audio/visual support to all events in the University of Wyoming Conference Center, the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, and any other spaces our AV equipment is being used. This support includes, but is not limited to, setting up and maintaining audio/visual equipment, configuring and operating projectors, microphones, audio mixing consoles, video switchers, teleconferencing equipment, storage room, and providing excellent customer service to clients and guests. Provide technical assistance and support for clients during events as requested. Perform duties in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner always. Report directly to the Audio/ Visual Services Coordinator. Complete other duties as assigned. JFNTMP MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Previous AV, electrical, or IT experience is preferred, but not required. A desire to learn new skills and abilities. Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be willing to effectively interact with staff and clients. Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, or in a group environment. Positive customer-oriented attitude and professional image. Ability to work a flexible schedule including a mix of early mornings, daytime, evenings and weekends as needed to support events schedule with busy seasons and slow seasons. Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP. REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS: Complete the online application.
