Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM - Tue 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM - Wed 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM - Thur 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM - Sun 07:00 PM - 03:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and activity across assigned areas, offering directions and assistance while helping to address policy violations and/or access concerns. Support Allied Universal and site personnel during routine operations, special events, and after-hours activity by communicating clearly and following post orders for the location. Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
