Our priority is to identify, scope, and deliver upstream systems and process improvements which reduce operating expense, increase free cash flow, improve customer experience and establish first pass yield process efficiencies. The Global Accounts Receivable (GAR) team is seeking a passionate Cash Application expert to help achieve our vision to provide world-class Order-to-Cash (O 2 C) experience to our internal and external customers in support of Amazons journey to become earths most customer-centric company. The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Financial Analyst must be strategic and detail oriented, have strong accounting and finance skills, robust interpersonal and influencing skills, strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to gather business and technical requirements across global teams to drive systems and change management processes. This person will need to roll up his/her sleeves, work independently, and have an extremely high level of ownership and ability to dive deep. This person will seek out opportunities to reduce human touches, eliminate process waste, move towards scalability and self-service, and work with tech teams to leveraging AI and emerging tech. Key job responsibilities- Standardize Global Processes: Design and implement comprehensive standard operating procedures across multiple sites to ensure consistent, high-quality financial operations- Process Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of cash application workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing strategic improvements- Technical Collaboration: Partner with technology teams to integrate AI and emerging technologies, reducing manual interventions and enhancing scalability- Training and Development: Develop robust training infrastructure to support skill development and consistent on-boarding for cash application analysts- Problem Resolution: Proactively address escalations, maintain financial integrity, and develop preventative measures to minimize process gaps. Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field- 3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 3 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
