Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM - Tue 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM - Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM - Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM - Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting security-related concerns at a government utility location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal management as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, fenced perimeters, and/or restricted operational areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify issues needing attention. Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, deliveries, and/or contractor entry in accordance with site policies for controlled government facility access. Document daily activities, patrol findings, maintenance concerns, and/or incident details in written reports, logs, and other required records. Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
