In this mission-driven role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $34.06 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and document security-related events, hazards, and/or maintenance issues for follow-up. Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating clearly with employees, visitors, and/or first responders during routine operations and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements:An active DoD TS-SCI Clearance is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
