Optimization: Plan, assign, and optimize freight for OTR and regional flatbed operations. Fleet Management: Coordinate driver schedules to ensure on-time service and maximum equipment utilization. Relationship Building: Communicate directly with customers to maintain and grow strong partnerships. Negotiation: Secure spot market freight and negotiate competitive rates to drive profitability. Strategy: Monitor load boards to identify high-value freight opportunities. Compliance: Maintain real-time data within the TMS and ensure full compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations. What We're Looking For Experience: At least 3 years of truckload planning (flatbed experience is a huge plus). Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA regulations. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in TMS platforms and various digital load boards. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve complex logistics puzzles under pressure.
