Manages the prioritization and development of applications and reports for business reporting and analysis purposes including ad hoc data analysis and special projects. Obtains resources (people, funding, material, support) to support business unit information needs. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for assigned functional areas. Implements the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and business units supported. Oversees area budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maintaining financial accountability. Minimum Requirements:Requires BA/ BS degree in IT/ IS, Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, and a minimum of 5 years management in developing & executing strategy and staff management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:Managed health care industry experience highly preferred. Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Snowflake or similar data manipulation tools highly preferred. Documentation of assumptions and technical requirements, and developing clear, concise presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences highly preferred. Experience providing leadership in evaluating financial performance of complex organizations highly preferred. Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation, and interpersonal skills highly preferred. Ability to work independently and draw up plans to address issues/concerns highly preferred. Strong communication skills to present clear, concise presentations of the detailed analytics preferred. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills preferred. Experience leading team of analysts or data operations team members preferred. Ability to communicate with customers about technical issues in non-technical terms preferred.
