Providence Mount St. Vincent is seeking friendly and compassionate Food Services Associates to join our team! Providence Mount St. Vincent organizes its residents into neighborhoods centered around shared spaces and kitchens. Each neighborhood has 18-22 patients in each dining room, providing the unique opportunity serve people in their home, develop relationships with small groups and grow your career. This position will start by floating between food service, hosting and cafeteria services. The Food Services Associate role requires standing for 90% of the job and the ability to read English. We are looking for Part time to cover morning and/or evening shifts. Key tasks of this position include:Turn on/fill dishwasher, fill silverware soaking pan and turn on rinse aid heater. Place mats on the floor, gather compost buckets and dish racks. Setting up carts to be delivered and retrieving carts. Place all food in corresponding steamtables on each floor. Drain, clean and refill dish machine. Help bus tables in cafe and bring out clean dishes/cups/silverware to the cafe. Important details:Pay range has been recently increased. Scheduling happens monthly, posted the 20th of each month, and done by tenure. You’ll have the opportunity to join the union (not required)Growth opportunities & tuition reimbursement available.
