This Behavioral Specialist role will have expertise with children with neurodevelopmental disorders and autism. The candidate will have experience delivering ABA-based strategies for behavior management/skill development, someone who has experience with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, including those with significant support needs, as well as developing and implementing intervention strategies according to research protocols. This position is located in the Texas Medical Center. Job Duties Assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of research protocols to ensure high-quality data acquisition. Implements behavioral intervention strategies to support participant's primarily children with neurodevelopmental disorders during research procedures. Collaborates with physicians, researchers, and clinical staff to ensure participants cooperation and protocol adherence. Accurately documents all participant interactions, procedures, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner. Ensures compliance with institutional policies and all applicable federal and state regulations governing research and patient confidentiality (e.g., HIPAA, IRB requirements). Monitors and meets documentation and study-related deadlines consistently. Maintains strict confidentiality of all participant, research, and organizational information. Identifies and escalates concerns or protocol deviations to the appropriate supervisor. Participates in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development activities. Supports departmental operations. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. No experience required. Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Psychological Associate (LP-A), Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist-A (LMFT-A), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Preferred Qualifications Experience in behavioral analysis for children with neurodevelopmental disorders including autism. Must have or be eligible for a Behavior Analyst license in the state of Texas. Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
