Clinical Research Assistant (HS)-Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep. Department:Medicine | IM Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep. To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies within the College of Medicine (COM) Department of Internal Medicine / Division of Pulmonary Critical Care with oversight from the Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data. Minimum Education Required. Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience. Experience Required. No experience is required for this position. Desired Experience and Skills 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred. Experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired. FUNCTION/ SUBFUNCTION: Research and Scholarship/ Clinical Research. CAREER BAND: Individual Contributor- Specialized. CAREER LEVEL: T 2 Additional Information:This is a patient facing role and is required to be onsite and working in the hospital. Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required as dictated by the approved clinical research trial/study. Being on call will be required and is determined based on staffing.
