Summer Student Research Assistant. Department:Arts and Sciences | Chemistry and Biochemistry Administration-JM - Duties and Responsibilities:Cell expression of acetylcholinesterase in different cell types, from human to bacterial cells. The Student Research Assistant will be involved in the cell expression of acetylcholinesterase and biochemical evaluation of novel drug-like therapeutics for cell-toxicity assays. Required Qualifications: High school degree and pursuing a degree in biology, chemistry or biochemistry. Responsibilities will be moderate and less routine and will require responsibility and good judgement. May coordinate activities for other student employees. Requires providing excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a professional environment. Requires previous experience and knowledge or skill in student assistant role. Represent the department and the university with the highest degree of integrity applying OSU mission and shared values.
