Dietitian Nutritionist III - part time Location US-MO-SAINT LOUIS System ID 988385 Category Nutrition Employment Status Part-Time Exempt Posted Range $74290 to $96140 Company : Segment Desc HOSPITALS On-Site Role Overview Sodexo is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital which is a 431-bed acute care hospital and the academic teaching hospital for Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Position will work ~24 hours per week with excellent benefits, position has ability to work additional hours based on clinical staffing needs. What You'll Do Position will report to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate will: Provide coverage of various acute care units including ICU, oncology, geriatric, surgery, medical, cardiology, and gastrointestinal. Provide medical nutrition therapy including enteral and parenteral nutrition support. Be able to develop strong rapport with the nursing and medical staff to provide exemplary care to patients, staff and community. Work with dietetic interns from Saint Louis University for acute care clinical training What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/ RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/ RDN credentials is required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire Minimum Management Experience: 7 months general supervision Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty
