The ability to count cash, make change and communicate well with the public. At least 3 months food service experience. Skills and Knowledge FOR CONSIDERATION FOR THIS POSITION, PLEASE COMPLETE AN ONLINE APPLICATION. Responsibilities Take between 300-1200 customer orders daily and serve them. Use POS terminal to add cost of food, collect money and make change. Balance and reconcile cash to cash register tapes. May be required to take weekly inventory of products. Prepare a variety of simple foods including french fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, soups, sandwiches, etc. Prepare and dispense coffee, tea and other beverages. Wash dishes, cooking utensils, counter space, etc. Observe safety and health regulations and maintain highest standards of sanitation. Physical Requirements Standing 85% – 100% of the shift - Frequent bending at the waist; able to bend to below the knee - Frequent stooping and/or crouching - Frequent walking back and forth throughout the counter area and stock room and food service areas - Frequent twisting and bending of head, neck, and torso - Full range of arm movement (extension, twisting, and bending of arm and shoulder, reaching overhead, stirring and mixing, wiping, etc.) - Wrist and finger dexterity (i.e. ability to use tongs, scissors) - Able to lift up to 50 lbs from the floor to waist height - Able to lift up to 30 lbs. overhead - Able to push and pull up to 250 lbs. - Wrist and finger dexterity (i.e. ability to use tongs, scissors, pen, fine motor skills, press buttons for data entry on computer, calculator, electronic K 5 and other beverage machines etc.) - Listening to and responding to customer and staff inquiries - Visual and cognitive capability sufficient to read and follow instructions, recipes etc. Tools/ Equipment Operate a variety of equipment, including a computerized POS terminal, food slicer, grill, deep fryer, convention oven, steamer, dish washer, etc.
