Our healthcare payer client urgently needs additional SIU (Special Investigations Unit) support to handle a heavy caseload of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) investigations. The role is critical for maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations and ensuring claims integrity. Pay Range: $50–60/hour W 2 benefits | 12-month project opportunity What You Will Work On Provide proactive detection, investigation, and reporting of FWA in compliance with state/federal regulations and in a fast-paced environment. Experience:SIU investigations or Compliance background (must have done the job before). Ability to prioritize and move cases forward with a sense of urgency. Strong investigative fundamentals, including analysis and report writing. Healthcare fraud experience strongly preferred (hospice, home health, skilled nursing, lab, oncology). Claims investigation experience required. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree required. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification or similar preferred. Senior level experience who is able to provide a proactive. Self-driven approach with consistent follow-through. Need to operate with a high degree of independence.
