As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will partner with leadership to oversee daily restaurant operations and actively support, develop, and motivate the team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service, maintaining standards, and ensuring both guest satisfaction and team engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, connecting with guests, and building a strong team culture. Job Description. What You’ll Do. Operations & Guest ExperienceSupport the planning and execution of food and beverage service across outlets and events. Be present on the floor to ensure smooth operations and step in to resolve guest concerns. Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and service execution. Partner with the Chef to stay informed on menus and guide the team accordingly. Monitor guest feedback and take action to continuously improve the experience. Team Leadership. Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of team members. Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities clearly. Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. Provide real-time coaching and feedback to support team development. Help ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees. Planning & Administration. Assist in managing all aspects of the F&B operation. Support scheduling based on business levels and labor guidelines. Participate in inventory management and cost control efforts. Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations. Our Approach to Service. Lead by example and set the tone for service excellence. Additional Job Information/ Anticipated Pay Range. What We’re Looking For 1 to 3 years of restaurant supervisory or management experience. Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-first approach. Ability to stay organized and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Solid communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including cost controls. Comfort with basic technology and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to motivate a team and maintain a positive culture. Requirements. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food safety and alcohol service certifications as required.
