(including, but not limited to) To provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment for campers Instruction and facilitation (or assist with) of indoor and outdoor activities on campus Oversee the health and safety of campers Utilize approved safety practices Provide appropriate First Aid and submit written reports to Health Supervisor Create and supervise an emotionally healthy environment for campers as a camp counselor Complete designated paperwork, reports, etc. as a camp counselor Organize classroom setting Preparation before and after kids arrive. Qualifications: 18 years or older Child Care/ Camp Counseling/ Teaching experience Ability to pass a background check First Aid/ CPR certification Able to develop positive rapport with campers Excellent communication skills Reliability Working conditions: Counselor will primarily work within a classroom and outdoor settings on Campus located at the Seattle Temple Corps. Covid guidelines will be required to be followed.
