As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/ Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations with strong customer service, clear communication, and a team-focused approach grounded in integrity, reliability, and innovation. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM - Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM - Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM - Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions in accordance with site protocols, and assist with visitor processing, badge checks, and/or escort procedures when required. Support day-to-day operations by maintaining a visible presence, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements:Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
