As a Security Officer Access Screening Specialist in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/ Media/ Telecom, and more. Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM - Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at a technology-focused location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures. Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and/or incident documentation while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements:This is a primarily driving post. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
