Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.22 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM - Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, screen visitors, and document access activity in support of authorized site access. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to post orders and site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, restricted areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, as assigned for the location. Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel regarding access issues, unusual activity, and other security-related matters while maintaining detailed and accurate reports. Minimum Requirements:Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
