We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Financial Analyst, Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) to be based in New Brunswick, NJ, Titusville, NJ, or Raritan, NJ. Purpose:Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) takes care of all J&J buildings around the world providing end-to-end services from Real Estate, Engineering & Strategic Project Delivery to Facilities Management. They have profound influence on the entire J&J Enterprise, providing innovative workplaces where our employees can collaborate and grow, and delivering flexible site solutions which enable our business to best serve our important customers and patients. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide strategic finance support to the Enterprise Real Estate team, inclusive of providing support and ultimate recommendations to J&J Affiliate companies and Senior Management on global Real Estate investments. They will also lead the consolidating and reporting on key financial forecasts and actuals submissions for global real estate. You will be responsible for: Key member of the Global Real Estate team on driving strategy and prioritization on investment decisions and standards. Partner with local finance teams and individuals at all levels of the Corporation (Regional CF - Os, Group CF - Os, GOC leaders, Supply Chain leadership, etc.) using impact analytics and executive framing to ensure the appropriate footprint decisions are taken for the enterpriseSupport business case development for all non-supply chain Real Estate projects in North America and Latin America. Leading and coordination of overall budgeting process for the global real estate Business Plan (BP), forecast updates, Long Range Financial Plan (LRFP), latest thinking, and actual reporting, including submissions and coordination/preparation of stakeholder material for global E&PS reviews. Provide timely communication of key deadlines to regional real estate finance teams to drive clear expectations for forecast cycles/ LT/ Financial close that will enable delivery of financial commitments. Deliver all actuals reporting requirements (quarter close responsibilities) including preparation of journal entries and providing commentary for variances versus plan. Provide financial leadership and guidance by applying strong financial acumen and process insights to advise business partners and finance teams. Promote & support financial awareness and education for business partners. Support continuous improvement/radical simplicity mindset (leverage technology, process standardization & improvements, and best practices). Proactively take responsibility for personal development. Ad hoc tasks & analysis as required. The role demands a high degree of independence, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to conduct analysis with minimal supervision. It requires effective partnership with diverse stakeholders—including Supply Chain and Commercial Finance teams, Facilities Management and E&PS leadership. Success hinges on balancing strategic and detailed perspectives, clearly communicating business impacts across leadership levels, and managing complex processes and timelines spanning across Corporate, Innovative Medicine and Med. Tech. The position must prioritize activities while ensuring a high level of customer service. The ability to balance multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain strong business partner relationships will be critical for success in this role. Qualifications / Requirements:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or accounting or any related business is required. Advanced degrees or certifications such as MBA, CPA, CMA, or other applicable certifications are preferred. A minimum of 3 years of finance or accounting experience (with strong knowledge of J&J financial processes & Accounting ER - Ps) is preferred. Developing relationships with business partners across all functions is required. Self-starter ready to take initiative to drive value creation, as well as process development and improvement. Strong Financial Modeling experience using Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e., Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions) is required. Experience using Alteryx, Tableau, or other automation and visualization tools is preferred. Proven presentation/collaborative skills to influence/negotiate with senior leadership and operate well in a complex, matrixed & ambiguous environment are required. Demonstrated robust analytical and technical skills, with the ability to simplify complex discussions. Strong ability to frame effectively business cases across all levels of the organization leveraging PowerPoint skills and excellent business communication / storytelling skills (verbal and written) are required. Preferred location is New Brunswick, NJ, Titusville, NJ, or Raritan, NJ; required up to 10% travel.
