The Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions is one of seven academic Departments, located in the School of Health Professions. The Department offers a full career ladder of graduate and undergraduate degrees, including an M. S. in Rehabilitation Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Track that is accredited by CACREP. The Department also offers a PhD. in Counselor Education and Supervision. The successful candidate will support the preparation of students who will become professional counselors, educators, researchers, and advanced clinicians in the effective treatment of people with mental illnesses and disabilities via counseling services and rehabilitation intervention. There are no special vision requirements. The work environment includes classrooms and offices. There is moderate noise. The candidate will work primarily on the Piscataway campus and will have access to a standard computer, phone, and internet access to perform the duties outlined. Some local travel is required to make clinical site visits and attend meetings with stakeholders.
