TITLE: AREA SUPERVISORREPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT/ DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONSPURPOSE: To effectively lead Unit Managers and Assistant Managers toward the attainment of agreed-upon goals and profits. RESPONSIBILITIES - Check schedules during the week before they are in effect to ensure units are properly staffed and have a solid plan for the week. Review daily numbers each day of work and call managers to coach and praise them for their results. Have focus on speed of service in the DT. Work lunch and dinner. Ensure that all restaurants are providing Guest Deserve our Best service and speed of service. Responsible for training all management personnel. Ensure all units are properly staffed, and people are properly trained to do their jobs. Ensure that accurate paperwork is turned into the office weekly and that all deposits are validated by the bank on time. Provide leadership by engendering excitement, enthusiasm, a positive mental attitude and commitment to company objectives. Ensure that correct inventory levels are kept, and all equipment is maintained in excellent condition. Set an example by maintaining excellent working knowledge and a high level of proficiency in the performance of all phases of Unit Operations. Supervise in accordance with established performance and operating policies as set out in the Operations Manual. Ensure that all restaurants provide Guests Deserve with our Best service with a focus on Speed of DT Service. Work with and motivate Managers and Assistant Managers to perform up to their highest possible level of ability. Develop management skills of all personnel to continue company growth and Unit Manager promotions. Review tests and performance appraisals of all Management Trainees. Participate in training program. Assume responsibility for attaining a favorable variance to standard. Analyze and review Weekly recaps, for each unit and other support documents, and take appropriate action to maintain company standards. Personally take and inventory at one unit each period. Communicate effectively with subordinates, associates, supervisors and others about plan, progress and problems. Recommend and implement, with the Marketing Department, Local Store Marketing ideas. Recommend Managers for promotion. Responsible for building sales and making a profit. Ensure that all required training, CFE’s, AOR’s and Food safety audits are completed in a timely manner according to company goals. SATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE has been achieved when your Top 5 goals have been accomplished while demonstrating Values and Behaviors. Pay Rate: $50,000 -$70,000 Employer: MJG Corporation
