Garmin International seeks Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Olathe, KS; Multiple positions): Essential Functions Establish and provide training to development teams on operational process and automations that promote the software integrity and stability Lead design/definition activities for moderate- and high-complexity systems, features, and/or process Monitor and support moderate- and high-complexity software releases Design and implement improvements to the software lifecycle and production pipeline through automated tools/systems that align with industry best practices Design and implement observability improvements to the software applications and infrastructure Coordinate and improve monitoring practices across software applications and infrastructure Build and/or maintain tools to generate reports Maintain accurate data to facilitate reporting on key reliability SL - Os for multiple products/systems Full-time remote work is not available. Individual contributor role Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in production environment. Must show demonstrated experience in the following: Successful implementation of moderately complex build and deployment automation Working with DevOps-style tools such as AWS, Ansible, Jenkins, Bit. Bucket, GitHub. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies such as Terra. Form, Ansible, and Puppet Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills. Implementing and supporting APM monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Dynatrace Using Linux-based scripting languages such as Python, Bash and Groovy Design, enhance, and develop complex multi-tiered server applications, requiring education and/or experience in software design, development, and maintenance necessary to perform the essential functions of the position. Operational experience within cloud platforms such as OpenStack, AWS, and Azure. Expertise in deploying, operating, and maintaining Kubernetes container orchestration platform experience. Previous experience working in a team environment. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, will accept a Master’s degree in same plus 3 years of relevant work experience. #non-indexed
