Information About Stonehill Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. Position Summary Stonehill College is seeking a dynamic studio voice teacher. The ability to work with students of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced singers, is essential. Specialization in musical theater is required; the ability to teach popular music stylings is highly desirable. Strong piano and pedagogical skills are a must. Thirteen weekly one-hour lessons plus one student studio recital at the conclusion of each semester are required for each student in the studio. We seek applicants who are committed to excellence in teaching and who have a demonstrated awareness of the importance of diversity in education. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teach course(s) Consult with students as it may relate to course content Create a syllabus Submit grades within the appropriate timeframes Education and/or Experience A master’s degree is required; a doctorate is preferred.
