Work Hours:Please note that the work hours of this temporary, part-time position vary depending on the event schedule. Night, holiday, and weekend work is required. Help in the safe installation, operation, and dismantling of equipment and materials as required by the performing group and or house Typical Qualifications Education or Experience:Knowledge of commonly used theatrical terminology, methods, materials and fasteners is necessary for some roles but not required for entry level responsibilities. Experience in a theatrical, construction or manufacturing environment is necessary for some roles but not required for entry level responsibilities. Additional Information Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Effective communication, attentiveness, listening to and interpreting of directions. Use basic hand tools and basic portable power tools as applicable. Organization and the ability to follow through on tasks. Basic math and measuring. Working quickly, often in proximity with other employees. Attention to the surrounding workspace and other employees. Work effectively at height or in low light situations. Coordinating and collaborating work with other employees. Attention to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
