Expedites and resolves backlog issues. Performs JD Edwards material transactions (work order/inventory/shipping/receiving) and responds to MRP messages or reports. Processes and maintains work order statuses, including but not limited to work order issuances, status changes, and closing. Performs material receipt transactions and reconciliation adjustments with accounts payable or purchasing and stockroom material issuance against work orders. Executes and resolves cycle count variances and investigates and determines remediation plans for inventory/material variances and shortages. Processes pick/ship tickets, prepares material for outbound shipments, and expedites/resolves backlog issues. Acts in cross-functional roles which may include expediting, PC/ IC clerk, material handlers, shipping and receiving, cycle counting, and stock room functions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience:Minimum 3 years' experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment. Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, i.e. Oracle and E 1 required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows, Outlook)Requires strong math aptitude. Self-motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Maintain high level of transaction accuracy. Physical Requirements:Employee is occasionally required to stand. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk. Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or move up to 50 pounds. Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products. Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a key board and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information. Work Environment:The work environment conditions are typical of a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment ranges from quiet to moderate, however, hearing protection may be required if employee enters high noise areas as a part of their normal job duties.
