This position not only involves critical billing work with insurance companies but also involves payment posting, an integral function of the hospital's Accounts Receivable. What you'll need: Certified Patient Account Technician (CPAT) preferred High school graduate or GED equivalency required Previous office experience: hospital accounts receivable and insurance experience preferred Previous healthcare billing or cash posting is preferred. Required to write and be verbally fluent in basic medical billing terminology Required to stay versed in industry standards and trends Schedule: 1.0 FTE; 40 hours\/week; Day Shift; No weekends!
