The Pharmacy Technician Trainee is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist in medication preparation, inventory management, and distribution, requiring extreme accuracy and attention to detail. The Pharmacy Technician Trainee has responsibility for assisting licensed Technicians with controlled substances management, meeting DEA, FDA, and state regulations, and has access to and manages medication storage areas using pharmacy automation. The Pharmacy Technician Trainee applies pharmacy knowledge and experience to identify variances and outliers in clinical practice to prevent medication errors. The Pharmacy Technician fields and triages calls and questions regarding medication distribution, assisting other caregivers within their scope of practice. Schedule: Variable shifts, ten hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm or 10:30 am - 9:00 pm and Saturday/ Sundays 7:00 am - 7:00 pm. Job Requirements.
