St. Louis County Department of Parks and Recreation currently has a vacancy for Maintenance Worker I at Creve Coeur Park Soccer Complex within Creve Coeur Park. CCP Soccer Complex is home to 13 synthetic turf fields and 1 natural grass super pitch. The complex regularly hosts local, regional and national youth soccer events throughout the year. Work hours for this position will primarily include Mondays - Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. but may include some weekends. The typical starting salary range is $15.86 - $18.74 hourly depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience as well as budgetary considerations. For more information regarding this program, please visit Examples of Duties Performs required field maintenance and grooming on the Complex’s 13 synthetic turf soccer fields. Mows and trims grounds. Cleans and performs maintenance of restrooms and buildings. Performs trash removal and pick-up. Assists in ensuring fields and goals are properly set up and broken down for field rentals and tournaments, including lining fields with field marking paint. Assists in the operation of field rentals/tournaments as necessary. Performs related work as required. Minimum Qualifications Applicants must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED and a possess valid driver's license. Some knowledge or prior experience in sports field or athletic complex maintenance.
