Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Educational Specialist/ Case Carrier , IA- IBI assist classroom teacher/s in reinforcing instruction and appropriate behavior to individual or small groups of students enrolled in special education programs; assist in implementation of student Behavior Support Plans; assist in the preparation and implementation of instructional materials and lesson plans in the development of students’ vocational, social and independent living skills; assist in the implementation of individual education plans; behavior support plan (BSP); other supportive tasks for instruction; provide routine clerical support. Requirements / Qualifications Education and Experience: Any combination of training, education, and experience which demonstrates possession of the knowledges and abilities stated in the attached job description, and the ability to perform the duties of the position. Education: Graduation from high school and college coursework in Child Development, Education, Social Work, or any other related field. Experience: One-year experience working with school age behavioral needs students in an organization setting or learning environment. Complete applications accepted on Ed. Join only.
