The Digital Designer is responsible for producing digital design deliverables for the Pet. Safe Brands portfolio, engaging our customers in digital channels, and driving conversions to exceed business results. The Digital Designer will form design strategies and create assets within digital channels including ecommerce, email, paid and organic social media, display advertising, retail partner channels and other direct to consumer touchpoints. The Digital Designer must understand digital market trends and funnel-focused advertising tactics, pushing for relevant, customer-centric approaches. Responsibilities: - Design consumer facing assets for PDP (product detail pages), website features and other digital placements that drive intended KPIs (engagement, CTR, conversion) while facilitating a clear UX with a mobile first mentality - Design & build animations and renders that engage customers and keep our brands forward facing in the digital landscape (social media, digital advertising, website experiences) - Create conceptual designs to include but not limited to multi-media marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, email, and social media graphics for use in domestic and international markets - Present concept visualization through sketches, drawings, mock-ups and/or illustrations for review and alignment - Manage multiple design deliverables in relation to marketing and product development schedules while maintaining consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points. Demonstration of leadership through researching current digital design trends and communicate these trends to key stakeholders - Understand the customers’ needs and expectations for our products and services using methods such as participation in customer intercepts, reviewing data from our Data Analytics & UX/ UI team reviewing research and online reviews, store walk throughs and listening to customer calls in Customer Care Center - Comfortable developing creative testing methodologies, collaborating with digital marketing focused teams - Maintain a fun, collaborative team environment. Qualifications: - 2 or 4-year college degree and 5 years digital design experience. Design experience with CPG companies (Consumer Packaged Goods) a plus - Must have an online portfolio with a demonstrated motion graphic skillset - Worked with design assets that drive strong KPIs for business results - Must possess effective communication skills, think in a creative customer-driven approach, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills are necessary. - Proficient on Mac platform utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office software including Adobe After Effects, Adobe XD, In. Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, Power Point, Excel. Proficiency in Figma a major plus - Ability to take and provide direction in a fast-paced environment - Exceptional layout, design, and typographic skills - The ability to thrive off a challenge and enjoy designing solutions - Multilingual design work a plus - Understanding of CSS & HTML 5 a plus. Accountabilities: - Meet and exceed personal and corporate goals and objectives including Balance Score Card metrics - KPIs associated with digital activations on assets (i.e., engagement, conversion) - Strong interpersonal skills with the desire to collaborate on team projects - Ensure designs align with brand guidelines, direction, and strategy - Meeting all asset deliverables and timelines#LI-RC 1
