Our team is seeking a Veteran Intern, Trades Helper for our Bureau of Field Services Team. We are looking for someone who can embrace the challenges of meeting our goals and exceeding the standards! This position provides assistance in the areas of facilities maintenance, repair, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry on MDOT facilities. Provides assistance in inventory, organizing, and coordinating facilities maintenance area, functions, and operations. Job duties may require exposure to inclement weather and hazardous work environments. Adherence to all safety rules and requirements including wearing personal protective equipment as designated by the department. Other duties that are delegated by leadership as assigned. Position will require travel to statewide locations.
