Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour Job Schedule:Day. Time. Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM - Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM - Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM - Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help control access, assist with visitor directions, and/or support a professional environment within the healthcare location. Support site operations by following post orders, communicating with staff regarding security-related concerns, and/or assisting with de-escalation during tense or sensitive situations. Minimum Requirements:At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Required hospital vaccinations are required. This position is in a hospital environment and may involve work in or around the morgue. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
