Scripps Networks is seeking a Manager, Operations and Insights who will lead the optimization of all ad sales inventory, architect deal approval processes, and drive revenue growth through advanced analytics and strategic leadership. WHAT YOU'LL DO:Lead strategic initiatives to maximize inventory value and revenue, guiding traffic, sales, and planning teams on prioritization for all revenue streams including cash, Audience Deficiency Unit (ADU), and Direct Response. Collaborate on the development of and implement strategies for mitigating liability and risk, driving cross-functional alignment to ensure revenue goals and operational excellence. Serve as authority on Wide Orbit Sales & P&I functionalities, setting process workflows, testing and managing Wide Orbit or other leading software solution system enhancements and documentation to drive efficiency. Conceptualize advanced analytical tools and models for the sales support team, mentor Sales Assistants and Planners on inventory maximization and strategic flighting. Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on comprehensive analysis (inventory, Direct Response (DR) rates, liability, etc.) to shape revenue forecasting, pricing, and long-term budgeting strategies. Build and oversee the creation, compilation, and dissemination of all Sales rate cards and associated analysis. Manage post-analysis reports Management Science Associates, Inc. (MSA). Participate in training and development for sales assistants and planners, establishing best practices and fostering a culture of analytical excellence. Identify revenue optimization opportunities, presenting business cases to leadership and directing their implementation. WHAT YOU'LL NEED:BS/ BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience. Generally, 8 years of experience in related field preferred WHAT YOU'LL BRING:Deep understanding of advertising and media sales industry, specifically linear TV media planning and inventory management. Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with Ad Sales systems. Experience working with sales teams and cross-functional partners. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. COMPENSATION RANGE:Annual Salary: $95,000.00 - 120000 Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
