Lead Technician Overview: While working as an active field Service Technician, assume the role of Lead Service Technician to assist the Service Manager and Client Services personnel to facilitate smooth delivery of landscape irrigation services to clients. Lead Technician Technician Pay: $25 - $35/hr DOE (Minneapolis, MN)Lead Technician Shift: Monday - Friday days. Lead Technician Key Requirements:Thorough knowledge of irrigation system construction and repair techniques. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Thorough knowledge of proper equipment operation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Thorough knowledge of safety practices. High level of detail orientation. Ability to coach and teach people. Landscape Irrigation Technician Key Responsibilities:Assist in the development and implementation of Service Department methods and practices. Mentor new or developing Service Technicians in technical skills and client relationships. Support the Service Manager in the execution of daily Service Technician duties. Conduct service calls whether alone or with a junior Technician. Coach assigned Service Technicians day to day as needed. Assure daily duties and tasks as required by the Company are completed in excellence. Schedule and execute in office administrative duties. Guide Service Technicians in day to day field technical calls, proper completion of paperwork, maintenance and operation of vehicles/equipment, professional training, and continuing education requirements. Maintain quality standards. Educate employees on safety practices. Assure company policies are followed. Recommend to Service Manager changes required to meet or exceed division goals and objectives. Maintain and submit all records/reports in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain positive client relationships. Assure each service technician has a thorough understanding of systems prior to beginning work. Assure coordination of service scheduling with Client Services.
