Support the assessment of current tactical planning processes, including agency utilization and associated spend. Partner cross-functionally with marketing and other stakeholders to gather insights and identify improvement opportunities. Help evaluate where AI can be leveraged to enhance efficiency. Coordinate across teams to track progress, synthesize findings, and support recommendations. Oncology – Breast Cancer Team. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support a strategic initiative focused on maximizing multiple indications in Breast Oncology with AI. This project will help shape how marketing teams identify and prioritize the highest-impact opportunities across healthcare providers and accounts. The intern will contribute to foundational Oncology Business Unit Marketing capabilities and gain exposure to how AI can enhance execution in a dynamic commercial environment. Key Responsibilities. Support the development of a unified prioritization approach using AI to increase the impact of external communications. Help assess and define event-based signals that can inform more effective and timely marketing actions. Contribute to efforts to produce in-house materials tied to specific events. Partner cross-functionally with marketing and other stakeholders to gather inputs, align priorities, and synthesize findings. Qualifications and Requirements:US Work Authorization is required at time of application. Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa (e.g., CPT, H 1-B, F-1 (OPT), TN, or other non-immigrant status). This role will not be providing CPT or OPT letters of support. Rising senior studying business, marketing, life sciences, or related field. Candidates must have an expected graduation date set for December 2026 - May 2027 timeframe. Candidates must adhere to a June 1, 2026 start date. Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days a week during the Summer, and 1-2 days per week when extended to part-time status during the school year. This role will not provide relocation assistance. Strong project execution skills: ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver high-quality work on time, and translate direction into action. Clear communicator and collaborator: able to synthesize information, work effectively with others, and take ownership of deliverables. Applied AI proficiency: hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Chat. GPT, Copilot) to generate outputs, analyze information, and solve problems. Prompting and iteration skills: ability to refine AI outputs through structured prompting and continuous improvement. Data-informed mindset: comfortable using data, feedback, and performance metrics to identify improvements. Learning agility: seeks feedback, adapts quickly, and operates effectively in a fast-paced environment. Marketing exposure: coursework, internship, or project experience in marketing, digital campaigns, or customer engagement (including multichannel basics)Analytical tools: experience with Excel/ Sheets, performance tracking, A/ B testing, or dashboards. Advanced AI application: experience building or experimenting with agentic workflows (e.g., multi-step prompting, automation, or decision-support use cases)Industry interest: curiosity about healthcare, life sciences, or patient-focused industries.
