Provide investment analysis for institutional defined contribution retirement plan clients. Job Description Responsibilities - Support the design, evaluation, and launch of new retirement investment products in partnership with internal teams and external subadvisors. - Assist with investment due diligence and ongoing monitoring for retirement products, including CI - Ts, income solutions, and core and non-core menu investment options. - Evaluate investment universes and menus to identify strategies aligned with product and client needs. - Manage onboarding, rationalization, and lifecycle oversight of investments on the retirement menu to ensure offerings remain competitive. - Prepare investment analysis, recommendations, and materials for internal committees and governance forums. - Assist in the development, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of investment processes, including due diligence frameworks, quarterly and annual subadvisor oversight, and investment menu review practices. - Act as an investment resource and subject-matter expert for cross-functional partners including sales, product, legal, compliance, and operations. - Develop monthly and quarterly investment-related marketing, performance, and commentary collateral for internal and external use. - Support sales teams by answering investment inquiries, contributing to product positioning, and assisting with RFPs and client due diligence. - Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory developments impacting the retirement investment platform. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field - Seven years of experience in investment research, manager due diligence, product development, or retirement investments - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines - Demonstrated comfort working in ambiguity and making sound decisions with incomplete or evolving information - Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, legal, compliance, operations, and senior leadership - Strong understanding of retirement plan investment structures, including CI - Ts, mutual funds, and group annuity platforms - Experience evaluating and monitoring public market investment strategies, with working knowledge of private market investments and their application within retirement-oriented products. Preferred Qualifications - CFA or completing coursework for CFA - Experience working with subadvisors, trust companies, or asset managers in a product, platform, or oversight capacity - Familiarity with ERISA considerations, fiduciary oversight, and investment governance frameworks - Exposure to retirement income strategies, private markets or multi-asset solutions. Compensation. The salary for this position generally ranges between $105,000 - $115,000 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law. Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus of 17.5% based on the Company Bonus Plan/ Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion. Working Conditions This is a hybrid position requiring three days (Tuesday-Thursday) in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Baltimore, Philadelphia, or Denver).
