We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our Human Resources Technology & Compliance team for the summer. This position will provide valuable hands-on experience in HR operations, specifically focusing on onboarding compliance and document management and the technology systems that accompany these tasks. The intern will gain experience by assisting with audit follow-ups for non-compliant onboarding documents, utilizing Docu. Sign for sending documents, and managing document storage in electronic personnel systems. Responsibilities Audit Follow-Ups: Assist in conducting regular audits of onboarding documents through vendor systems, particularly I 9 s and Background Checks to identify non-compliant files. Gain experience supporting the HR team in ensuring adherence to employment laws and company policies. Docu. Sign Document Handling: Use Docu. Sign to prepare, send, and manage the signing process of essential HR documents. Ensure all documents are accurately completed and signed by relevant parties, in a timely manner. Store documents as necessary. Document Storage and Management: Support uploading and downloading of electronic personnel files as required, understanding the basics of data protection and why, where, how and when documents are stored. Communication: Collaborate with HR team members learning the ins-and-outs of concise, efficient, and sometimes urgent communications at all levels of the organization. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR Compliance and Technology team as needed. Learning Opportunities: Gain practical experience in HR operations and compliance management. Develop skills in electronic documentation and personnel file management. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Curiosity and eagerness to use current HR technology systems
