Role Summary. Prepares complete detail and/or layout drawings of prototypes, new and existing products from verbal or written instructions utilizing CAD equipment and software. Participates in design review, surveillance, and program management activities including documentation of all activities to maintain accurate records, monitoring and controlling objectives, timetables, and costs of projects. Job Purpose:The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of internal / external CAD data and drawings to support new product launch programs for Magna Exteriors.
