The HR Generalist supporting Under Armour’s retail function will serve as a vital contributor to shaping and executing HR strategies that drive the success of retail operations. This role encompasses the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs across the retail teams in the United States and Canada, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals. By collaborating closely with Retail HR Business Partners and teammates, the HR Generalist will optimize processes, foster teamwork, and support strategic initiatives that elevate the retail function's performance and efficiency. Your Impact - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of HR regulations and UA HR policies, staying updated on relevant changes in both areas. - Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and requests related to HR matters. - Partner with Centers of Excellence (CO - Es) and HR Business Partners (HRB - Ps) to support cyclical processes within the employee lifecycle. - Oversee and manage responses to HR-related inquiries within the ticketing system. - Administer employee data updates and changes in SuccessFactors. - Facilitate the escalation, redirection, or resolution of issues with empathy, pragmatism, and adherence to established standards and guidelines. - Audit and support the headcount planning process to ensure accuracy and compliance. - Implement, reinforce, and update HR policies, programs, and procedures as needed. - Conduct research and compile information to assist HR Business Partners effectively. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Organizational Development, or related field - 2 years of HR experience supporting various policies, procedures, and/or programs - Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced matrixed work environment, with the ability to prioritize work-load with multiple cross-functional partners - Responds promptly to teammate needs; solicits teammate feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance - Maintains confidentiality; remains open to others' ideas and tries new things - Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds - Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner. Workplace Location Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our global headquarters in Baltimore, MD Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.
