Citizens internship programs provide the opportunity to work on high-impact business assignments that connect academic experience with real-world applications. The Enterprise Strategy Summer Internship is designed to immerse high-performing students in one of the firm’s most critical functions, offering exposure to enterprise-wide strategic priorities and decision-making. This is a high-exposure, eight-week program featuring structured rotations, executive engagement, and a capstone project that culminates in a presentation to senior leadership. NOTE: THIS INTERNSHIP PROGRAM BEGINS June 2026 & is based in Westwood, MA / Boston, MA. As an Enterprise Strategy Intern, you will:Participate in rotation-based learning across key strategy functions, including:Corporate Strategy. Innovation. Enablement & Delivery. Corporate Development. One. Citizens / Cross-LOB Programs. Engage directly with senior leaders through weekly one-on-one conversations, gaining exposure to enterprise priorities, leadership perspectives, and decision frameworks. Deliver real, business-relevant outputs each week (e.g., analysis, memos, presentations), contributing to live strategy workstreams. Complete a capstone project:Define and scope a strategic topic early in the program. Conduct research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Present recommendations to a panel of senior leaders at program conclusion. Key Responsibilities:Conduct research, analysis, and synthesis on strategic topics including growth strategy, competitive positioning, innovation, and operating model transformation. Contribute to enterprise strategy initiatives, including: Competitive benchmarking. Market and industry analysis. Strategic prioritization and trade-offs. Support innovation and fintech evaluations, including ecosystem mapping and vendor assessment. Participate in agile delivery environments and governance forums, gaining exposure to execution and change management practices Assist in corporate development activities, including exposure to M&A processes and valuation concepts Develop written and presentation materials for senior stakeholders. Contribute thought leadership to internal communications (e.g., strategy newsletters)Qualifications:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex topics clearly. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver against deadlines High level of intellectual curiosity and interest in strategy, finance, and innovation Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environmen.
