Include: Communicate and delegate daily tasks for the department. Collaborate between multiple locations and interdepartmental teams to achieve goals. Drive compliance, performance, efficiency, and proficiency on various objectives. Review various reports relating to non-rentable units and fleet levels, and take immediate action on opportunities. Monitor asset control, ensuring that current fleet is properly inventoried, and action is taken on missing vehicles. Oversee organization of vehicles on lot to ensure that quick action is taken for vehicles based on their status. Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the pool, and the company. Includes ability to handle stress and to interact with others so as to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts. Initiates, reviews, masters, and follows all standard operating procedures for area of responsibility. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid U. S driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record 20 years of age Professional Experience: Working knowledge of the following areas preferred: employee management, car rental industry, asset control, logistics or transportation Skills: Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail. Must have the ability to delegate effectively. Must be able to collaborate between interdepartmental teams. Must have strong time management skills. Must be adaptable and flexible, ability to quickly change direction and focus. Must be self-starter with ability to work autonomously. Must be able to work in inclement weather outdoors. Must be flexible for scheduling. Some positions may require nights, holidays, and / or weekends.
