Plan and coordinate plant resources (people, equipment, etc.) between Ingredient, Processing, and Finishing to meet shift and plant goals. Use plant technology (Google programs, SAP, Opera, Wonderware) to provide scheduling oversight for the shift through management of bins, packaging, and raw ingredients. Share relevant information during shift meetings and assist in removing barriers that prevent the shift from achieving their goals. Work with team Business Unit Leads to analyze and report shift performance data (KPIs, AU etc); works with affected teams to review performance data, find opportunities, recommend corrective action and follow-up. Acts as representative for Materials Planning for the shift making adjustments for materials in SAP or coordinating with Vendors during off hours. Lead the team in resolution of downtime or staffing issues, involving the Operations Team Leader when needed. Ensure all SAP and Shop Floor transactions are completed correctly by each production line by the end of the shift. Provide shift leadership in the absence of the Operations Team Leader. Assist with training on quality, safety, operations, process changes, and review of SOPs, SW - Is, documents. Work with shift Quality Business Unit Lead and Operations Team Leader to ensure quality standards are met for all product produced on shift. Understands and exemplifies Hill’s policies, safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GM - Ps) and Food Safety. Identifies and reports any issues to Management and helps with resolution. Empowers teams by way of training, information sharing, mentor, and providing feedback to ensure the development of people, skills, teams and organizational capabilities. Provides support for on-shift troubleshooting. Requirements: High School Diploma. 2 years of manufacturing experience. Must have proficient computer skills in business software such as Microsoft or Google Suite. Ability to work any shift. Preferred education and experience requirements: Bachelor’s degree. Experience with SAP or other Business Application software. Experience in a strong team environment. Compensation and Benefits. Salary Range $66,000.00 - $66,000.00 USD - Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
