Join the Financial Shared Service Center which serves Student Affairs & Enrollment Management as a Financial Program Assistant, where you’ll support and enhance the service goals of the division through accurate fiscal analysis, budgeting, and accounting services. This role works closely with department heads, directors, and the Student Affairs & Enrollment Management Shared Services Director to provide timely, professional, and customer-focused support that advances the mission of the Division of Student Affairs & Enrollment Management. This position is located in Brookings, South Dakota. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with department heads, directors, and the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Shared Service Center Director to perform fiscal analysis, budgeting, and accounting for assigned areas. Deliver timely, professional financial services that support units served. Provide excellent customer service through responsive, accurate, and solution-oriented support. Maintain effective working relationships and frequent communication with unit leaders to ensure financial needs are understood and addressed. Computer software applications and systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Office) Financial data management Skill & Ability to: Interpret, comprehend, and apply laws, rules and regulations for institution, state, federal and a variety of funding agencies. Research, compile, and analyze data. Provide high level of accuracy with attention to detail. Prioritize projects to meet competing deadlines. Maintain effective working relationships.
