Lead complex, highrisk employee relations investigations and manage ER cases from intake through resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and policyaligned outcomes. Serve as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and business leaders, providing guidance on sensitive ER issues, performance management, and decisionmaking. Apply company policies and employment law guidance thoughtfully, assessing risk and recommending appropriate actions in partnership with TMR leadership and Legal, as needed. Manage a high volume of ER cases simultaneously with strong prioritization, documentation discipline, and sound judgment. Conduct and document thorough investigations using established protocols, including investigative plans, interview notes, evidence review, findings, and final case summaries. Clearly communicate investigative findings and recommendations to HR Business Partners and leaders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner. Provide consultative guidance on noninvestigative ER concerns, including performance issues, conduct concerns, and workplace conflicts, ensuring consistency and risk awareness. Analyze ER case data, trends, and root causes to identify systemic issues and support proactive, preventative solutions. Partner crossfunctionally with Centers of Excellence, including Legal as appropriate, to mitigate risk and reduce repeat issues. Facilitate Team Member Relations (TMR)owned training sessions and contribute to education on ER practices, investigation standards, and policy application. Participate in crossfunctional and TM - Rled projects focused on consistency, scalability, culture, process improvement, and risk reduction. To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:3 years of experience in an HR or Employee Relations role, with a strong focus on employee relations and case management. Demonstrated experience with employee relations practices, including investigations, corrective action, performance management, and conflict resolution. Proven knowledge of investigation methodologies, including fact finding, evidence evaluation, credibility assessment, and disciplined documentation standards. Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, with experience applying them in real world workplace scenarios (e.g., EEO, retaliation, accommodations, leaves). Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and documentation standards, with experience ensuring consistent policy interpretation and application. Demonstrated risk awareness in employee relations decision making, including identifying matters that require escalation. Understanding of organizational culture principles, with experience applying ER practices that support engagement, trust, and consistency. Proven ability to manage a high volume of ER cases simultaneously, effectively prioritizing while maintaining quality, consistency, and timeliness. Experience producing clear and comprehensive ER documentation, including investigative notes, case summaries, and final recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience clearly presenting investigative findings and recommended actions to HR Business Partners and business leaders. Experience providing consultative guidance to HR Business Partners and leaders on noninvestigative ER concerns, including performance, conduct, and behavioral issues. Ability to analyze trends and patterns in ER data, identifying systemic issues and opportunities for proactive intervention. Experience collaborating cross functionally with Centers of Excellence, as appropriate. Experience facilitating ER related training for leaders and HR Business Partners, and contributing to projects focused on consistency and continuous improvement. Demonstrated sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential employee matters. Commitment to continuous learning, with experience applying best practices to improve ER effectiveness and outcomes. Strong criticalthinking and problemsolving skills, applied across a wide range of employee relations scenarios. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with experience using systems and tools to support case management and documentation.
