Nightshift (7:00 pm-7:30 am) - seeking to fill a Part-time 2-12 hour shifts per week. Apply today and help children breathe easier - today and for years to come. Responsibilities Respiratory Therapist (RT)Conduct comprehensive respiratory and ventilator assessments. Evaluate weaning potential and respiratory rehabilitation opportunities. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans. Initiate and manage ventilator weaning protocols per physician orders. Administer prescribed respiratory medications and treatments. Perform scheduled and PRN respiratory interventions. Monitor labs, clinical indicators, and ventilator parameters within scope of practice. Document care clearly and concisely, including ventilation checks every 12 hours per PSC policy. Maintain accurate progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries. Communicate clinical findings and recommendations to physicians and interdisciplinary team members. Educate families, caregivers, and staff on respiratory equipment and procedures. Assist with in-service training and onboarding education for staff. Ensure safe, cost-effective use of respiratory equipment and supplies Qualifications Respiratory Therapist (RT)Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required (Bachelor's preferred)Active, unencumbered Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license. RRT or CRT credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care. Current CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification. Must be at least 21 years of age. Pediatric, ventilator, or long-term care experience preferred (but not required - we will support training)
