The NDT Technician Trainee will work under the direct supervision of the Responsible Level III NDT Manager by performing basic non-destructive testing (NDT) and maintenance functions. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Perform inspections using various nondestructive testing methods (e.g., Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Radiographic). Interpret and evaluate results in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and procedures. Document findings, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate records. Support aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul projects by providing reliable NDT results. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer’s manuals, and company procedures. Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration and operation. Work collaboratively with maintenance teams to resolve technical issues. Participate in continuous training and recertification as required. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred experience in non-destructive testing, preferably in the NDT methods of Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT) or Eddy Current (ET). A strong aptitude for acquiring new mechanical skills and knowledge. Familiarity with the products and processes associated with aircraft maintenance and manufacturing is preferred. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as assigned, dependent on production needs. Ability to travel domestically and internationally and have a valid Driver’s License.
