Apply now » Lab Technician Posted Date: May 8, 2026 Requisition Number: 128757 Job Location: Robinson, IL Hourly Rate: $28.25 The Backup Lab Tech will: Log daily micro and analytical samples to be tested in the Robinson Micro lab. Log Environmental Micro Monitoring Program (EMMP) samples into the database. Perform routine and non-routine swabs generated by the EMMP program. Prepare media Manage the Allergen Verification program by monitoring production schedules, collecting samples, logging them, and submitting them for analysis in partnership with QA Specialists and Line Supervision. Preparing and shipping samples to external labs as needed. Serve as Relief Technician for Micro lab as needed. Keep inventory and replenish expendable lab supplies in an economically prudent manner. Perform and maintain records of all quality testing in the micro lab. Perform and record all laboratory daily checks accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain laboratory and equipment in a neat and orderly manner at all times. Support ISO 17025 accreditation and maintenance Perform other duties as assigned in support of plant. Weekend work may be required Skills and Minimum Requirements: Knowledge in HACCP, Microbiology, EMMP, Lab Testing Methods and/or Quality Systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint); familiarity with LIMS is a plus. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
