Working closely with Supervisors, Customer Service, Transportation Department, Warehouse Staff and the local USCS management team. The Scheduler is responsible for ensuring that all customer inbound and outbound loads are set up for delivery or pickup. Gather and maintain all data and records relative to scheduling. This individual will consistently contribute to USCS's key performance areas, including sales, customer satisfaction, cost controls, productivity, accuracy, safety, and sanitation, while maintaining a positive work environment. Assist in meeting scheduling demands while building good customer relationships and ensuring that all requests are responded to in the highest professional manner. Set up all customer pickups and deliveries in our WMS/ Phenix (if applicable), including our customer account specific transportation driven systems if required. (i.e. Blu. Jay, OTM, etc.) Utilizes IAS tool as able to assist with scheduling. Respond to all customer and carrier calls and emails that are received in the highest professional manner. Distribute documentation to appropriate party. Maintain facilities pickup and delivery schedule. Ensure the accuracy of all scheduling documents. Assist Superintendent and Operations Manager with any requests or projects as assigned. The Job Specifics: - Location, Department and Work Hours: Warehouse, Site Specific - Reports To: CAS Supervisor - Travel Amount: 5% - Job Type, EEO, and Job Code: Full-Time, Non-Exempt JOB CODE C 2-10 What We Are Looking For:Education - High School Degree or equivalent Experience - 1 to 3 years preferred. - Excellent communication skills, written and oral. - PC, leadership and planning skills helpful. - Experience in AS 400, SAP, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred. - Experience with warehouse paperwork preferred.
